Job summary

GAF Materials Corp. seeks a high-energy Territory Manager – Steep Slope to drive sales of residential roofing products in the Albuquerque area.

You will act as a liaison between GAF and clients, building relationships and closing opportunities while ensuring customer satisfaction. The role requires 3+ years of sales experience (or 1+ in building materials), a valid driver’s license, and willingness to travel 50–70% within the territory.

Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma or GED required
• The ability to have and maintain a driver’s license
• 3+ years sales experience or 1+ years experience in building materials
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to sit, stand, walk and use hands
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Travel 50–70% within territory

Responsibilities

• Identify market opportunities with contractors, distribution, lumber dealers, retailers and co-ops
• Build and close the sales funnel through value-selling the benefits of GAF products
• Overcome objections and convert hurdles into growth opportunities
• Prepare reporting on hits, misses, learning, and competitive landscape
• Engage with customers at shows, conventions, and industry events
• Serve as liaison between GAF and clients to keep both sides satisfied
