Job summary

GAF in Albuquerque, NM is seeking a high-energy Territory Manager – Steep Slope to grow the sale of residential roofing products and build lasting relationships with contractors, distributors, and dealers.

You will lead the sales funnel, present value, handle objections, and pursue opportunities to close deals while traveling 50–70% in the territory. A HS diploma and 3+ years of sales or 1+ years in building materials are required; bilingual is a plus.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required.
• Ability to have and maintain a driver’s license.
• 3+ years of sales experience or 1+ years of experience in building materials.

Responsibilities

• Attack: identify market opportunities with contractors, distributors, lumber dealers, retail, and co-ops and build relationships.
• Build: manage and close the sales funnel through value-selling of GAF products.
• Persist: use strong negotiating tactics and pricing strategies.
• Strategize: report hits/misses and plan next steps to exceed expectations.
• Consult: network to be a trusted advisor to customers and educate them on products.
