Job summary

GAF Materials Corp. is seeking a high-energy Territory Manager – Steep Slope to drive sales of the complete line of residential roofing products. You will act as a liaison between GAF and clients, developing strong relationships with contractors, distributors, dealers, and co-ops while ensuring customer satisfaction and growth.

Travel will be frequent (50%–70%). The role requires 3+ years of sales or 1+ year in building materials, a valid driver’s license, and a proven ability to build and close

Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma or GED, license to drive, and 3+ years of sales experience or 1+ year in building materials.
• Ability to travel 50%–70% and work in varying environments.
• Strong relationship-building, negotiation, and value-selling skills.

Responsibilities

• Identify market opportunities with contractors, distributors, lumber dealers, and retailers.
• Build and close the sales funnel through value selling of GAF products.
• Overcome objections and convert opportunities into wins.
• Strategize reporting on hits, misses, and competitive landscape.
• Engage customers through meetings, shows, and industry events.
