Job summary

The Scalo Companies are seeking a Project Coordinator to independently manage logistics, site communications, and pre-construction reporting for assigned projects. This role leads site walks and supports Field Supervisors, with weekly planning and exception check-ins.

Ideal candidates will have strong communication, planning, and tech skills, plus OSHA-friendly safety practices. The position aligns with future growth into Field Supervisor I, with varied duties across multiple concurrent jobs.

Qualifications

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills across diverse groups.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural plans and specifications.
• Strong organizational skills to coordinate tasks across multiple projects.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, Outlook, and company software (Sage 300, Timberline, Master Key, Work Max, Autodesk Build, KPA).

Responsibilities

• Attend pre-construction and kickoff meetings to learn about assigned projects.
• Establish and maintain communication between all trades on site.
• Confirm materials are secured and protected at end of day.
• Submit next-day warehouse supply and equipment requests as directed.
• Promote safety and enforce company standards and procedures.
• Track weather days and maintain daily site housekeeping and apparel codes.
• Log and report discrepancies in deliveries and inventory.
• Walk sites with Field Supervisor to document conditions and reporting.
• Lead pre-construction site walks and produce existing-conditions reports for PM approval.
• Communicate timeline changes to Field Supervisor and PM on the same day.
• Attend weekly contractor meetings and ensure compliance with specs and drawings.
• Assist with change orders, job-cost tracking, and scheduling around changes.
• Maintain accurate material inventories and coordinate multi-site deliveries and crane setups.
