Job summary

The Zildjian Company, located in Norwell, MA, is seeking a Rolling Mill Assistant for a full-time 1st/2nd shift. Responsibilities include loading and draining hot castings, changing dies, and maintaining safe, efficient operations in a high-temperature environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent Required.
• At least 3 months experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Awareness of OSHA & Safety standards; Lean manufacturing knowledge a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lift castings weighing up to 16 lbs and load onto a tray during a 10-hour shift.
• Pick hot castings off trays with rake and pass to rolling mill.
• Change dies using various tools.
• Use pliers to grab and pull blank from press and place into quench tank.
• Maintain quality and production records; follow safety procedures and company policies.
• Report improper operations, faulty equipment, and any unsafe conditions to supervision.
