Job summary

The Zildjian Company in Norwell, MA is seeking an experienced Maintenance Mechanic for the 2nd shift (3PM – 11PM). The ideal candidate has at least 7 years of industrial electrical-mechanical maintenance and troubleshooting experience, and will service production equipment, diagnose control faults, and perform basic fabrication.

Responsibilities include safety-focused maintenance, collaborating with engineering, reading schematics, performing machining and welding, and maintaining CMMS records

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in industrial electrical-mechanical maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Experience repairing manufacturing equipment including mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Experience and training in PLC/HMI programming and diagnostics (Allen Bradley, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Facilitate and execute maintenance on all production equipment with emphasis on safety and uptime.
• Collaborate with engineering to resolve quality and production issues for continuous improvement.
• Troubleshoot, repair, and rebuild mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.
• Diagnose PLC and control circuit faults; read electrical/mechanical drawings.
• Perform basic machining (mill, lathe, drill) and welding (MIG, TIG, Stick) for parts.
• Document work orders and manage preventative maintenance in CMMS.
