The Zildjian Company is currently seeking an experienced Maintenance Mechanic for 2nd shift (3PM - 11PM). The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 7-years’ experience in industrial electrical-mechanical maintenance and troubleshooting.This position includes maintenance, installation, troubleshooting and repair of equipment and machinery, including occasional fabrication to support equipment repairs.
Trade school or a specific credential in an area of expertise such as programmable controllers, welding, electrical, mechanical is . Understand schematic diagrams, blueprints, and other specifications. Trade school or a specific credential in an area of expertise (Programmable controllers, welding, electrical, mechanical).
Mental and visual reasoning needed. Concentration required for intense and complex work. Good judgment needed. Strong evidence of mechanical aptitude and critical thinking
Must have strong verbal and written communication skills including the ability to understand and share complex equipment issues and troubleshooting.
Specific to the assigned area or work area needed. Physical - continuous standing and moving needed. Frequent lifting, stretching, pushing, pulling, or carrying needed in job. Ability to lift 50-pounds. Solid working knowledge of computers. Ability to work inside and outside during hot and cold temperatures.
This position does not have any supervisory responsibilities.
