Job summary

MRO Corporation is seeking an ROI Specialist to provide on-site support for release of information requests at a client facility in the United States. You will review requests, determine records, and log data into the ROI On-Line system to ensure accurate and timely processing.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required.
• 1+ year experience entering data into computer systems.
• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations preferred.
• Strong verbal communication and ability to respond to customer inquiries.

Responsibilities

• Determine records to release by reviewing requester information per HIPAA guidelines.
• Answer phone calls about ROI issues.
• Assist walk-in customers requesting medical records and log data into ROI On-Line.
• Process requests from physician offices on a priority basis and fax information as needed.
• Log medical record requests into ROI On-Line database.
• Scan records into ROI On-Line database.
• Adhere to site policies and regulations.
• Handle and record cash payments at specified sites where applicable.
• Other duties as assigned.
