Job summary

MRO is seeking an ROI Specialist to support client sites in processing Release of Information requests. You will determine records, verify HIPAA compliance, answer inquiries, log and scan records into ROI On-Line, and coordinate with physician offices. This role requires data entry experience, attention to detail, and independent work at client facilities across the U.S.

Qualifications

• Determines records to be released by reviewing requestor info per HIPAA.
• Answers phone calls concerning ROI issues and logs data.
• Responds to walk-in requests and processes physician office requests.
• Logs and scans records into ROI On-Line database.
• Follows site policies and records cash payments where applicable.
• Proficient with computer applications and data entry; internet use required.
• Works independently to meet production goals for MRO.

Responsibilities

• Review ROI requests and determine records to release per HIPAA.
• Answer inquiries by phone and respond to walk-ins.
• Log requests in ROI On-Line and scan records into the system.
• Process physician office requests and fax information as needed.
• Ensure compliance with site policies and HIPAA regulations.
• Handle and record cash payments where applicable at sites.
• Demonstrate reliability and attention to detail in daily tasks.
• Meet production goals as assigned by MRO.
