Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Minimum 1 year of data entry experience.
• Experience with computer systems and the internet is required.
• HIPAA regulations knowledge is preferred.
• Prior ROI experience in a physician's office or HIM department is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Review ROI requests to determine records to release according to HIPAA and patient data.
• Answer phone calls and assist with ROI issues.
• Log ROI requests into ROI On-Line database and document details.
• Scan medical records into ROI On-Line database.
• Process physician office requests and fax information when needed.
• Handle cash payments for requests at some sites.
• Demonstrate proficiency with computer applications and meet production goals.
• Work independently with attention to detail and dependability.
