Job summary

MRO is seeking an ROI Specialist to support client facilities nationwide in handling Release of Information requests. You will determine records to release, gather data from various sources, and ensure HIPAA compliance while providing excellent customer service.

Responsibilities include answering ROI inquiries, logging and scanning requests in ROI On-Line, and processing physician-office requests. Strong data-entry skills and attention to detail are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• One or more years experience entering data into computer systems.
• Ability to work independently and meet production goals.
• Strong verbal communication skills; responding to customer inquiries.
• Attention to detail in handling records and data entry.
• Dependability in a client-site support role.
• HIPAA knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review requests to determine records to release per HIPAA and locate data from sources.
• Answer phone calls regarding ROI issues.
• Assist walk-in customers and log information into ROI On-Line database.
• Process physician office requests and fax information as needed.
• Log and scan medical record requests into ROI On-Line database.
• Comply with site policies and regulations.
• Handle and record cash payments at specified sites where applicable.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
