Job summary

MRO is seeking an ROI Specialist to support at a client site for patient records requests. The role requires reviewing requester information under HIPAA, determining which records to release, and obtaining data from electronic, off-site, or physical sources that match the request.

Responsibilities include answering ROI questions by phone, handling walk-ins, logging and scanning documents into ROI On-Line, and processing physician-office requests with faxed information as needed.

Qualifications

• 1+ year data-entry experience; proficient with computer applications.
• Experience using the internet required.
• Ability to work independently and meet production goals.
• Strong verbal communication and customer service skills.
• Attention to detail and dependability.
• HIPAA knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Determines records to be released by reviewing requestor information under HIPAA and sourcing data.
• Answer phone calls concerning ROI issues.
• Respond to walk-in customers and log information into ROI On-Line.
• Process physician office requests and fax information as needed.
• Log and scan records into ROI On-Line database.
• Comply with site policies and regulations.
• Handle and record cash payments at specified sites.
• Other duties as assigned.
