Job summary

Accelera is seeking a skilled technician to support robotic welding configurations in Cincinnati. The role involves loading, observing, and quality-checking welded parts, while maintaining accurate inventory and documentation.

Qualifications

• Must have technical certification or higher-level engineering degree or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience building, servicing, and diagnosing industrial mechanical or electrical systems.
• Exposure to welding is a plus but not mandatory.
• Background in industrial settings such as machine shops, fabrication, or automated manufacturing.
• Willingness to master software and programming interfaces for automated machinery.
• Ability to read complex electrical schematics and diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Manage and assist with complex robotic welding configurations.
• Oversee loading, observation, and quality check of welded parts.
• Maintain inventory records for parts and finished goods.
• Perform routine maintenance and resolve technical issues to keep systems running.
• Ensure optimal system performance by checking alignment and machine function.
• Document operational data to aid engineering in identifying system errors.
• Use schematics and blueprints to guide work.
• Maintain and repair sensors, pneumatics, and electrical systems.
• Assist with installing autonomous welding units to improve output.
• Learn system operation and basic programming/CLI adjustments.
• Collaborate with clients to ensure safe, productive machinery.
• Work with engineers to resolve mechanical and robotic challenges.
• Perform cleaning, inspection, and replacement of mechanical/electrical parts.
