Job summary

Path Robotics in Cincinnati, OH, seeks a Field Service Technician to operate, maintain, and troubleshoot advanced robotic welding systems and automation equipment across customer sites.

You will perform preventive maintenance, diagnose issues, and integrate welding cells with extensive travel (75%+). Strong mechanical/electrical skills and programming aptitude are essential; welding experience is desirable.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience designing, assembling, and troubleshooting mechanical/electrical systems.
• Familiarity with fabrication or machine shop processes.
• Welding experience is desirable but not mandatory.
• Comfortable learning and using programming languages.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain a state-of-the-art multi-robotic welding system with robotic vision and sensors.
• Load, monitor, and inspect welded assemblies with precision.
• Manage inventory of parts and completed assemblies.
• Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs at customer sites.
• Record and analyze data for engineering-driven issue resolution.
• Monitor cell performance and ensure precise part fit-up.
• Integrate autonomous welding cells into customer processes.
• Service pneumatic systems, welding equipment, robotics, and electrical automation devices.
• Interface with customers to optimize equipment efficiency.
• Collaborate with engineering resources to troubleshoot issues.
