Qualifications

• BS in a relevant engineering field with hands-on electromechanical systems experience.
• 7+ years bringing prototype hardware to volume production with real-world performance.
• Proficiency in C/C++ for embedded targets and Python for tooling and analysis.
• Experience with AI-enabled workflows and lab automation, plus safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead bring-up of new platforms, actuators, and subassemblies with calibration and validation.
• Define and enforce hardware/software interface contracts across subsystems.
• Write embedded firmware and host tooling for bring-up, diagnostics, and data capture.
• Own end-to-end integration test plans and ensure ongoing pass criteria.
• Characterize system performance and drive design improvements to meet specs.
