Job summary

Physical Intelligence is seeking a sourcing leader to own the supply chain and procurement strategy for robot platforms as we scale from prototype to production.

You will build a resilient global supply chain across actuators, motors, gearboxes, sensors, compute modules, PCBAs, harnessing, and assemblies, working with engineering and manufacturing to optimize cost and manufacturability.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in strategic sourcing, procurement, or supply chain management for hardware products.
• Experience taking hardware from prototype through production ramp.
• Direct experience sourcing electromechanical components, PCBAs, and high-performance compute systems.

Responsibilities

• Own sourcing strategy and supplier execution across full robot BOM.
• Establish sourcing processes, capacity planning, and risk mitigation.
• Partner with engineering teams to drive manufacturability, resilience, and cost optimization.
• Ensure material continuity across in-house and outsourced manufacturing.
• Develop multi-source strategies for critical components; mitigate single-source risks.
• Negotiate pricing, lead times, and commercial agreements to meet targets.
• Lead transition from prototype to contract manufacturing and scale operations.
• Support NPI and production ramp activities across Asia Pacific and other regions.
