Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC in Massachusetts is seeking a senior sourcing and supply chain professional to lead cross‑functional teams for robotics products from concept through deployment. Qualifications

• Data-driven improvements using metrics.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
• 2+ years in high-volume manufacturing operations or sourcing.
• Experience in supply chain, commodity, and supplier management in a global environment.
• 2+ years of direct experience in sourcing mechanical components.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional supply chain team dedicated to supplier and supply chain design, sourcing and logistics decisions.
• Act as single point of contact for program resources to communicate supply chain decisions.
• Collaborate with Robotics leadership on partnership between Robotics Supply Chain, hardware engineering, operations and program teams.
• Define and approve Product level Supply Chain Strategy documents and identify critical components.
• Develop negotiation strategies with suppliers to meet business objectives and foster relationships.
• Manage supplier relationships including performance, capability, capacity, contracting, risk and quality.
• Oversee new product introduction programs to ensure sourcing meets technical and cost goals.
• Develop mechanisms for forecasting and capacity requirements for sustaining and new products.
• Guide purchasing and planning by monitoring supplier performance and addressing issues.
• Align supplier strategies to Robotics goals for production sustainability and new products.
• Develop global commodity strategies aligning business needs with supplier capability.
• Maintain monthly supplier scorecards and conduct quarterly executive reviews.
