Maxwell Bond in Los Angeles, CA, is seeking a Software Engineer to build autonomous robotics software for warehouse applications. You’ll work with C++ and Python, ROS2, Linux, and Docker on real robots in customer environments, owning features end-to-end from development to deployment.

Qualifications

• Proficient in C++ and Python for robotics software.
• Experience with ROS2/ROS1 middleware.
• Comfortable with Linux/Ubuntu and Git.
• Exposure to computer vision, SLAM, motion planning or embedded systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop robotics software using C++ and Python across navigation, perception and motion planning.
• Improve autonomous navigation and obstacle avoidance in dynamic environments.
• Build teleoperation tools and integrate robots with warehouse management systems.
• Deploy and test software using ROS2, Linux and Docker.
• Take ownership of features from development through to real-world deployment.
