Job summary

ALTEN Technology USA is seeking a Robotics Software Engineer to design, develop, and integrate software for a cutting-edge robotics platform focused on autonomous navigation and manipulation. You will work with senior engineers and roboticists to build robust software across the full robotics stack.

The role requires hands-on experience with ROS 2 in C++ and Python, Linux-based development, and debugging real robotic systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a technical field and robotics experience.
• Hands-on experience with ROS 2, C++, Python, and Linux.
• Ability to debug and integrate complex software on real robotic systems.
• Strong problem-solving and collaboration in a fast-paced team.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain software across the robotics platform.
• Develop and deploy ROS 2 applications in C++ and Python.
• Integrate subsystems including sensors and actuators.
• Troubleshoot performance and reliability issues through testing.
• Support validation with hardware-in-the-loop testing.
• Participate in code reviews and architectural discussions.
• Contribute to tooling and deployment processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on new features.
