Job summary

MaximaTek is seeking a Robotics Engineer who will design, build, and optimize autonomous robotic systems. You will bridge hardware, software, and control to deliver reliable navigation, sensor fusion, and perception capabilities.

The role involves hands-on development in C++/Python, ROS/ROS2, and real-time testing on hardware and simulations, with collaboration across mechanical, firmware, PM, and QA teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Robotics, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science is required.
• 0-5 years of robotics development, autonomous systems, embedded programming, or mechatronics.

Responsibilities

• Architect, develop, and integrate robotic software and hardware components.
• Design and implement motion planning, localization, and SLAM algorithms for autonomous operations.
• Write modular code in C++ and Python using ROS/ROS2; test on hardware and in simulation.
• Integrate CV, LiDAR, IMU data for perception and decision-making.
• Perform RCA on failures and implement data-driven fixes.
• Collaborate with mechanical, firmware, PM, and QA for hardware-software deployment.
