Job summary

Slip Robotics in Norcross, GA is seeking a Purchasing Analyst to own the day-to-day purchasing cycle, turning demand into purchase orders and keeping the ERP records accurate. You will report to the Purchasing Manager and ensure POs are on time to prevent line stoppages.

This onsite role requires hands-on PO management in an ERP, proactive shortage prevention, and close collaboration with suppliers and internal teams as the company scales its production and ERP system migration.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years in purchasing, buying, procurement or materials planning, preferably in hardware manufacturing.
• Hands-on experience running the full PO cycle in an ERP (creating, changing and closing POs).
• Persistent follow-through: track dozens of open orders at once.
• Clear, direct communication with suppliers and internal teams, including delivering bad news early.

Responsibilities

• PO execution: turn MRP output into accurate, on-time POs and expedite as needed.
• Shortage prevention: maintain weekly runout reports and monitor stock levels.
• ECO execution: modify POs to limit excess and obsolete inventory.
• Data accuracy: keep item, vendor, lead-time and pricing data in the ERP.
• ERP transition: test purchasing workflows and document real-world processes.
• Supplier coordination: be the day-to-day contact for assigned suppliers and track on-time delivery.
• Reporting: build simple reports on PO status, delivery performance and spend.
• Process simplification: remove steps to streamline purchasing before automation.
