Job summary

Serve Robotics in Los Angeles is seeking an Operations Associate to ensure the smooth and reliable performance of our autonomous delivery robots. You’ll assist robots in the field, perform light maintenance like cleaning sensors, and help ensure deliveries are completed safely and on time.

You’ll collaborate with operations, engineering and customer support to manage deployments, elevate technical issues, and support safety and training initiatives, while working across variable schedules.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and operate light vehicles.
• Experience engaging with customers professionally.
• Willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Experience with Jira or Slack is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain field readiness and support robot deployments to ensure on-time order fulfillment.
• Assist in deployment processes: prep, inspection, cleaning and placement of robots.
• Track, document, and close escalation tickets with clear communications.
• Operate company vehicles safely to move, recover, or reposition robots.
• Prioritize safety and escalate critical events per policy.
• Secure, charge, sanitize, and account for robotic assets at end of shift.
• Handle, maintain, and store tools, devices and PPE.
