Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Mechatronics & Robotics Technician in Indiana to support the Operations Maintenance team. You will repair and maintain material handling equipment and pneumatic systems, install and service automated packaging and distribution equipment, and mentor junior technicians.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (implied by role)
• 1+ years of Microsoft Office experience (administrative)
• 2+ years of automated conveyor systems and controls experience or related apprenticeship
• 2+ years of maintenance procedures experience
• 2+ years reading blueprints/electrical schematics
• 2+ years troubleshooting MHE equipment

Responsibilities

• Promote a safe working environment by following all safety procedures
• Complete preventative maintenance routines with proper documentation
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems related to MHE
• Maintain positive working relationships across Amazon Operations facilities
• Handle physical tasks including lifting up to 49 lbs and climbing ladders as needed
