Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Mechatronics & Robotics Technician to support the Operations Maintenance team in repairing and maintaining material handling equipment and pneumatic systems at our Indiana facility. You will install, maintain, and repair automated packaging and distribution equipment while mentoring junior technicians.

The role requires hands-on mechanical and electrical skills, light to moderate lifting, and the ability to work up to 12-hour shifts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1+ years of Office products experience.
• Willing to work a flexible schedule including weekends/nights/holidays.
• 2+ years of automated conveyor systems experience or completion of Apprenticeship Program.
• 2+ years preventive maintenance experience.
• 2+ years reading blueprints/electrical schematics.
• 2+ years safety standards experience.
• 2+ years troubleshooting MHE.

Responsibilities

• Promote a safe working environment by following procedures.
• Complete preventative maintenance with proper documentation.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems on MHE.
• Maintain positive working relationships across the site.
• Ability to move up to 49 lbs, stand for up to 12 hours, climb ladders, and perform bending/lifting as required.
