Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; associate degree preferred.
• 4,000 hours of recent relevant work experience in mechatronics, industrial automation, robotics, or related fields.
• Working knowledge of technical drawings, schematics, hand tools, measuring instruments, and troubleshooting.
• Experience with PLCs, sensors, control systems, pneumatic systems, and CAD software is preferred.
• Relevant industry credentials in robotics, automation, electrical systems or CAD are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate support services with the Instructor.
• Assist in developing individual student achievement plans.
• Assist students by reviewing, re-teaching, and reinforcing technical content.
• Help students develop personal management and workplace readiness skills.
• Assist students in the transition from school to work.
• Provide feedback to the Instructor regarding student progress and needs.
• Assist in documenting accommodations for students.
