St. Clair County RESA TEC – Marysville, Michigan is seeking an Engineering and Robotics Instructional Technician to support the mechatronics program, assist with lab prep, equipment readiness, and safe work practices.

The role involves guiding students, reinforcing technical content, and collaborating with the instructor to improve outcomes. The ideal candidate has 4,000 hours of relevant experience in mechatronics or robotics, plus knowledge of CAD, PLCs, sensors, and electrical/mechanical

Qualifications

High school diploma required; associate degree preferred.
4,000 hours of relevant Mechatronics/robotics work experience.
Experience with PLCs, sensors, control systems, pneumatics, CAD is preferred.
Ability to communicate clearly and support high school students with varied learning needs.

Responsibilities

Plan and coordinate support services with the Instructor.
Assist in developing individual student achievement plans.
Re-teach and reinforce technical and academic content for students.
Assist students in developing personal management skills and transition to work.
Provide feedback on student progress, behavior and needs.
