Job summary

Emtech is seeking a Hardware Logistics & Inventory Technician to ensure the hardware and engineering teams have the materials, tools, and components needed for robotics development, testing, and deployment. This role emphasizes inventory accuracy, material flow, and kitting to reduce downtime and improve build efficiency in lab and test environments.

You will coordinate with engineering, procurement, and operations to maintain reliable systems and continual improvement of inventory processes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to pass a background check & client hire requirements.
• Must possess friendly and collaborative demeanor to work as part of a team.
• Ability to solve problems and adapt to improve outcomes.
• Ability to follow instructions from engineer or supervisor.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds unassisted.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate inventory of parts, tools, and consumables.
• Prepare and stage material kits for hardware builds and test activities.
• Own physical organization of inventory areas, bins, and storage systems.
• Receive incoming shipments and verify against purchase orders.
• Monitor inventory levels and identify potential shortages and risks.
