We are seeking a Robotics Technician to support the assembly, testing, maintenance, and continuous improvement of advanced robotic and electromechanical systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain robotic systems, electromechanical assemblies, actuators, sensors, and supporting hardware.
- Perform robot bring-up, testing, validation, debugging, and troubleshooting.
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and system-level failures and help identify root causes.
- Support prototype builds, engineering development, and hardware improvements.
- Create and improve assembly procedures, work instructions, and engineering documentation.
- Track robot fleet health and technical issues using tools such as Jira.
- Collaborate closely with engineering teams to improve reliability, manufacturability, and performance.
- Maintain inventory, tooling, test equipment, and engineering hardware.
Ideal Background
- Robotics, automation, autonomous systems, aerospace, mechatronics, semiconductor equipment, or electromechanical hardware experience.
- Strong troubleshooting and debugging ability.
- Experience with sensors, motors, actuators, cable assemblies, wiring, or electronics.
- Comfortable reading engineering drawings, schematics, and technical documentation.
- Experience supporting prototype, R&D, lab, NPI, or engineering environments.
- Familiarity with Linux, CAD, testing equipment, and engineering tools is a plus.
This is not a traditional design engineering role where the primary focus is CAD ownership, system architecture, simulations, or product design.
Instead, it's a highly technical, hands-on position focused on:
- Building hardware
- Bringing systems online
- Supporting engineering teams
- Improving processes
- Keeping robotic systems operating reliably
