Job summary

Emtech is seeking a Robotics Hardware Technician III to own hardware subsystems, build prototypes, and lead troubleshooting across robotic cells. You will bridge engineering designs with physical implementation and drive iterative testing.

The role emphasizes hands-on design, component selection, and collaboration with engineers, with travel around 10% and a requirement for strong workmanship and reliability.

Qualifications

• Must have a technical background with strong problem-solving abilities.
• Experience reading complex electrical/schematics is required.
• Willingness to travel ~10% and work across cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Design and modify mechanical/electro‑mechanical subsystems with limited guidance.
• Select motors, sensors, and connectors for subsystems balancing performance and cost.
• Build prototypes and integrate hardware with controls/software.
