Job summary

Emtech is seeking a Robotics Hardware Technician III to own hardware subsystems and bridge design with physical implementation. The role involves building prototypes, selecting components, and leading troubleshooting for complex robotic cells.

You will coordinate with engineers and technicians, develop drawings and BOMs, and apply Agile/project management practices to keep schedules and quality on track. The ideal candidate will travel 30-50% between Seattle, WA and Spokane, WA with potential

Qualifications

• Experience in robotics R&D, automation or hardware integration.
• Ability to read and interpret complex schematics.
• Hands-on experience with mechanical/electro-mechanical subsystems.

Responsibilities

• Own hardware subsystems from design to implementation for robotic cells.
• Select motors, sensors and connectors balancing performance, cost, and availability.
• Build and bring up prototypes, integrate hardware with controls/software.
• Lead troubleshooting for complex hardware issues within a cell or product area.
• Coordinate with technicians, software, and controls engineers for alignment.
• Produce and maintain drawings, BOMs, and assembly instructions.
