Job summary

Jobtailor in Boston, MA is seeking a skilled Installation Technician to deploy robotic food systems, perform mechanical installation, wiring, and plumbing, and coordinate with engineering teams on site.

You will travel to deployment locations, support checks, document observations, and contribute to SOP feedback while maintaining safety and quality. 2+ years' experience and a valid driver’s license are preferred.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of related field installation experience.
• Willingness to travel up to 75% within the United States.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Proficient in basic electrical, pneumatic, plumbing, and mechanical work.
• Strong documentation and safety record.

Responsibilities

• Travel to deployment locations to install and commission robotic food systems.
• Install, wire, plumb, and assemble according to drawings and SOPs.
• Perform installation work independently and with others while coordinating with the DAE leading deployment.
• Support system checkout and commissioning through inspections, functional checks, adjustments, and punch-list items.
• Document field observations and recommend improvements to deployment procedures, tooling, and system designs.
• Maintain a safe, organized, and professional worksite.
• Create and update test records, checklists, and SOP feedback.
