Job summary

Brightpick is seeking a Robotics Field Technician to support automation deployments at client sites across North America. You will help commission the Brightpick solution, troubleshoot electromechanical systems, and train end users on-site.

You will engage with customers, document issues, and collaborate with internal teams to ensure operational excellence. The role requires hands-on technical aptitude, travel readiness, and clear communication across stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Proven hands-on robotics/mechatronics experience in field service or demonstration roles.
• Basic PLC and robot programming fundamentals.
• Familiarity with electrical testing tools and calibration.
• Know-how of networking basics (routers, switches, wifi) helpful.
• Ability to document work and train customers effectively.
• Willingness to travel up to 30% in North America and occasional overseas.

Responsibilities

• Interact with customers to troubleshoot and resolve issues on-site.
• Provide L1 technical support and coordinate with L2/L3 teams for complex problems.
• Communicate clearly with customer teams and document concerns and resolutions.
• Maintain up-to-date project documentation, bug reports, and improvement ideas.
• Collaborate with SMEs to deliver in-person training at client sites.
• Represent Brightpick at HQ events or trade shows when required.
