Job summary

Brightpick is seeking a Robotics Field Technician to master the Brightpick solution, perform automation commissioning, mechatronics troubleshooting, and client training. The role requires hands-on engagement, strong communication, and flexibility as the company expands across North America.

You will travel up to 50% of the time, primarily within North America, to customer facilities and occasionally internationally.

Qualifications

Hands-on robotics/mechatronics experience.
Basic robot and PLC programming experience.
Familiar with networking topologies and automation communication.
Willingness to travel up to 50% within North America; occasional international travel.

Responsibilities

Client Obsession - interact with the customer in the field, perform troubleshooting and root cause analysis, drive issues to resolution.
Provide technical L1 support for production issues and collaborate with L2/L3 teams to resolve complex issues.
Communicate effectively with customers and their operational teams to address technical concerns.
Maintain accurate documentation for daily operations, report bugs, issues, and suggest improvements.
Initiative - respond to client issues with urgency, prioritize by severity, and pursue all avenues to minimize impact.
Training - deliver in-person training to end-users at client installations and improve training content.
Internal Support - support internal projects and demonstrate the system to potential clients at HQ or trade shows.
