Brightpick is seeking a Robotics Field Technician to master the Brightpick solution and be a resource for automation commissioning, troubleshooting, and client training. You will engage directly with customers in the field, perform troubleshooting, and drive issues to resolution.

Qualifications

• Baseline robotics and mechatronics knowledge.
• Hands-on experience in a technical support role.
• Familiarity with mechanical tools, meters and electrical test equipment.
• Cursory knowledge of networking and automation topologies.
• Troubleshooting or remote troubleshooting for electro‑mechanical systems.
• Comfort with terms like machine learning, AI, vision sensors, PLC, LIDAR, AMR, Jira, Google Workspace, e‑commerce, FMS.

Responsibilities

• Interact with customers in the field, perform troubleshooting and root cause analysis and drive issues to resolution.
• Provide technical L1 support for production issues and coordinate with L2/L3 teams.
• Communicate effectively with customers and their operational teams to address concerns.
• Maintain accurate daily operation documentation, including reporting bugs and suggesting improvements.
• Respond to client issues with urgency and prioritize by severity, coordinating with colleagues remotely or in person.
• Deliver in-person training to end-users at client installations and provide feedback to improve training.
• Support internal projects and demonstrate solutions to potential clients at HQ or trade shows.
