Job summary

Boston Dynamics, Inc. is seeking a Field Service Engineer to support Stretch Robotics at customer sites, delivering end-to-end field service solutions.

The role requires strong technical capabilities, customer empathy, and a high travel tolerance (up to 80%). You will work independently and collaborate with Sales, Engineering, and Service teams to ensure rapid issue resolution and top-tier customer outcomes.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering high quality field service to customers.
• Experience working with highly specialized platform technology.
• Strong customer management and communication skills in a service environment.
• Proven track record of meeting metrics like CSAT, response, and resolution times.
• Experience performing repairs/maintenance on mechanical equipment.
• Experience using power tools and specialized equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform emergency repairs, installations, site integrations, routine maintenance, and general technical service and support for our internal and external customers.
• Collaborate with Sales, Engineering, and Service Operations to drive technical solutions and resolve customer issues quickly and efficiently.
• Ensure world-class support outcomes – CSAT, issue resolution time, and first-time-fix metrics.
• Document and complete service administration activities promptly in our CRM.
