Job summary

Boston Dynamics in Mountain View, CA is seeking a Field Application Engineer to deliver robotic solutions and ensure seamless integration at customer sites. You will lead pilots, PoCs, and deployments, optimize end-to-end integration, and provide expert troubleshooting and training.

You will collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Sales to drive improvements, gather feedback, and develop site‑specific architectures. Travel up to 30% to customer sites and support ongoing deployments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a technical field (CS/ME/EE).
• 5+ years of field application, systems integration, or technical support experience in robotics or industrial automation.
• Strong collaboration with customers to deliver complex technical solutions.

Responsibilities

• Lead high‑impact customer engagements, pilots, PoCs, roadshows and product demonstrations.
• Analyze and optimize end‑to‑end integration lifecycle to accelerate deployment and reduce costs.
• Provide executive‑level updates and project reports with data‑backed insights.
• Troubleshoot complex field issues, analyze logs, and coordinate fixes with internal teams.
• Develop custom tools to streamline integration and performance.
