Job summary

Cobalt Robotics is seeking a Reserve Engineer to join our on-site field-operations team. You will service and maintain robotic hardware at client sites, ensuring minimal downtime and high client satisfaction. Training will be provided, and occasional deployments or field projects may occur.

This 1099 contractor role is non-remote and requires availability Mon–Fri, with after-hours and weekend on-call possibilities. Local travel within the area is expected.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with robotics hardware and service
• Excellent communication with clients and team
• Comfort with hardware maintenance and basic electrical work

Responsibilities

• Learn robot hardware and servicing procedures (training provided).
• Communicate with technical and non-technical teammates on repairs and projects.
• Address hardware failures on robots promptly and safely.
• Assist with field operation projects and new robot deployments.
• Be dispatched to client sites 1–3 times per month to resolve issues.
