Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Robotics Systems Engineer I for the RDPI Technology Deployment team. You will oversee large-scale deployments of industrial automation across North America, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and traveling up to 75% of the time.

Relocation to Seattle, Boston, or Austin may be required. Strong skills in mechanical/electrical systems, networking, and software coordination are essential for go-live success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering, or related STEM field.
• 2+ years Linux systems administration or development experience.
• Experience with two or more of these languages: Python, Java, Perl, PHP, Ruby or Bash/Shell.
• Experience in a 24/7 production environment.
• Knowledge of networking fundamentals.

Responsibilities

• Own multiple deployments across sites, delivering within documented standards.
• Lead end-to-end deployment and drive improvements in safety, quality and productivity.
• Collaborate with hardware engineering, TPMs, product managers, and site teams to translate requirements into deployment docs.
• Travel extensively to meet project requirements across North America, up to 75% or more.
