Job summary

Amazon Robotics RDPI is seeking a Systems Engineer to oversee large-scale deployment of industrial automation across North America stores operations. You will manage installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting of robotic systems, coordinating with hardware engineering, product managers, and site maintenance teams.

You will travel extensively to project sites, lead on-site teams, and drive continuous improvement across deployments, ensuring alignment with program status and business goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering, or related STEM field.
• Experience in construction, manufacturing, warehouse environments is expected.
• Ability to travel domestically ~75% or more throughout the year.
• Strong communication skills and data-driven decision making.

Responsibilities

• Install and deploy robotics, packaging and sortation technologies at fulfillment centers.
• Develop knowledge of robotic system operation and guide installation, commissioning and troubleshooting.
• Manage integration of work cells in fulfillment centers.
• Collaborate with hardware engineering, TPMs, product managers and site operations teams.
• Travel to project sites across North America; lead on-site deployments.
• Lead teams of engineers on projects and manage schedules and budgets.
