Job summary

Amazon's Robotics Delivery & Packaging Innovations (RDPI) Tech Deployment team oversees field deployments of large-scale industrial automation across North America. As a Systems Engineer, you lead planning, installation, and launch of automation in fulfillment centers, coordinating with hardware, software, and operations teams.

You will travel extensively, up to 75%, and may relocate to Seattle, Boston, or Austin.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of networking fundamentals.
• Experience with Linux systems administration or development.
• 1+ years of experience with at least two languages: Python, Java, Perl, PHP, Ruby or Bash/Shell.
• Experience reading technical drawings and CAD models.

Responsibilities

• Manage deployment of large-scale industrial automation technologies and ensure on-time go-lives.
• Collaborate with hardware engineering, product managers, and site teams to create deployment docs.
• Improve operations through automation and process optimization.
• Mentor junior engineers and drive on-site project execution.
