Job summary

Amazon’s Robotics Delivery & Packaging Innovation (RDPI) Technology Deployment team seeks a Systems Engineer to oversee large-scale deployment of robotics across North America stores. Travel upwards of 75% is required, with on-site and remote installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting of automation equipment.

You will collaborate with hardware, software, and operations teams, manage project schedules and budgets, and guide on-site teams through go-live.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent required.
1+ year experience with CAD models (mechanical/electrical).
1+ year experience with mechanical/electrical/IT/software systems.
Ability to read technical drawings and CAD models for on-site clash issues.
Strong data collection, reporting and data-driven decision skills.
Willingness to travel across the US and internationally.

Responsibilities

Support installation of robotics and packaging technologies at fulfillment centers.
Develop deep knowledge of robotic system operation; guide installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting on site and remotely.
Manage integration of work cells in fulfillment centers.
Collaborate with hardware, software, program managers, and site teams.
Travel to project sites; align stakeholders on program status.
Manage day-to-day project scheduling and budget.
Lead teams of engineers on projects.
Travel to live warehouses and construction sites; long scopes.
Travel across North America up to 75% or more.
