Job summary

Field AI in Michigan seeks a proactive Field Application Engineer to support deployment, testing, and client-facing operations of our robotic systems, including drones, quadrupeds, and humanoid robots. Based in Fenton, MI, this full-time onsite role starts with hands-on field work and demos.

You’ll collaborate with engineers and clients, document test results, troubleshoot hardware/software, and help iterate on performance.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a technical field as listed.
Strong communication and ability to translate complex topics for varied audiences.
Willingness to travel nationwide.
Ability to work well in team-based environments.

Responsibilities

Deploy and operate robotic systems in the field, support testing and data collection.
Supervise remote operations and assist during client presentations and demos.
Facilitate smooth, clear communication between engineers and non-technical stakeholders.
Document technical issues, test results, and client feedback in detail.
Troubleshoot hardware and software issues and contribute to continuous workflow improvement.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to iterate on system performance and usability.
