Field AI seeks a Field Application Engineer to support deployment, testing, and client-facing operations of cutting-edge robotic systems. Based in Abilene, TX, this onsite role welcomes recent graduates who thrive in technical and operational settings.

You will deploy and operate robots (drones, quadrupeds, humanoids), test data collection, and assist during demos. Travel across the country is expected, with collaboration across engineering and client teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Robotics, EE, or Mechatronics.
• Strong communication skills; able to translate complex topics for diverse audiences.
• Willingness to travel frequently across the country.
• Excellent organizational and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Deploy and operate robotic systems in the field and support testing and data collection.
• Supervise remote operations and assist during client presentations and demos.
• Facilitate clear communication between engineers and non-technical stakeholders.
• Document technical issues, test results, and client feedback in detail.
• Troubleshoot hardware and software issues and contribute to workflow improvements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to iterate on system performance and usability.
