Job summary

The Home Depot is seeking a Robotics Automation Designer – Robotics Systems to organize and maintain critical technical documentation for robotic products across the lifecycle. You will collaborate with Mechanical, Electrical, Software, Controls, Manufacturing, Quality, and Installation to ensure accuracy and accessibility of requirements, specifications, interfaces, and supporting documents.

Qualifications

• Experience organizing and maintaining technical documentation for complex products or systems.
• Experience working with engineering requirements, specifications, drawings, interface documentation, or other controlled technical documentation.
• Strong understanding of product development processes for robotic, automated, or complex electromechanical systems.
• Demonstrated ability to coordinate information across multiple engineering disciplines.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify missing, outdated, or conflicting technical information.
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Collect, organize, maintain, and manage product requirements, engineering specifications, and interface documentation across multiple engineering disciplines.
• Coordinate with engineering subject matter experts to keep documentation complete, current, and properly structured through the product lifecycle.
• Manage documentation changes, revision history, traceability, and cross-functional dependencies to maintain a consistent product definition.
• Facilitate requirements, documentation, and design reviews to identify gaps and update documentation accordingly.
• Develop and improve standards, templates, processes, and tools for organizing and maintaining product documentation across the organization.
