Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Systems Engineer for its Robotics Deployment team to oversee the installation, testing, and go-live of industrial automation across North America’s Stores network. You’ll work with hardware, software and operations teams while traveling up to 75% to meet project goals.

The role emphasizes leadership on-site, problem solving, and continuous improvement to deliver safe, high-quality deployments at scale. Relocation to multiple corporate hubs may be required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of site reliability engineering (SRE), systems engineering, or related fields.
• Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or related field or relevant work experience.
• Experience with Python, Java, Perl, PHP, Ruby, Bash or Shell.

Responsibilities

• Manage tactical deployment of large scale industrial automation technologies.
• Own onsite coordination of installation and acceptance testing to meet go-live dates.
• Collaborate with hardware engineering, PMs, product managers and internal customers to convert requirements into deployment documents.
