Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Systems Engineer II for its AR TD group to deploy large-scale industrial automation across North America. You will lead on-site deployment efforts, coordinate installations, and work with cross-functional teams to translate requirements into actionable deployment plans.

The role requires 5+ years in robotics deployments, strong system integration skills, and up to 75% travel across North America. Relocation to multiple hubs may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or relevant work experience in a technical field.
• Experience with PLCs/SCADA and network infrastructure.
• Ability to travel domestically 75% or more of the year.
• 5+ years troubleshooting robotics or similar systems.
• 5+ years project management for deployment of large-scale robotics.
• Experience with deployment documentation and BOM management.
• Experience reading mechanical/electrical CAD drawings.

Responsibilities

• Lead multi-site deployments of industrial automation technologies, ensuring on-time go-live.
• Coordinate onsite installation and acceptance testing to meet project milestones.
• Collaborate with hardware engineering, TPMs, product managers and site teams to translate requirements into deployment docs.
• Drive process improvements and automation to enhance deployment efficiency and quality.
• Build relationships and capture the voice of the customer to guide deployments.
