Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC is seeking a Systems Engineer II to lead on-site deployment of large-scale industrial automation across North America stores. You will manage multi-site installations, coordinate with hardware engineering, program managers, and operations teams, and ensure safe, on-time go-lives.

This role requires travel up to 75%+, relocation flexibility to Seattle or other metros, and hands-on work with PLCs, SCADA, CAD drawings, and deployment documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or related field or relevant work experience.
• Experience with PLCs, SCADA systems, and network infrastructure.
• Travel domestically 75%+ of the year.
• 5+ years troubleshooting robotics or complex electro-mechanical systems.
• 5+ years deployment project management for large-scale robotics deployments.
• Experience with CAD drawings/models for deployment.

Responsibilities

• Own multi-site deployments of a single technology or multi-technology deployments within one site.
• Drive continuous improvement in deployment cycle time, safety, quality, and productivity.
• Develop deployment documents: schedules, SOPs, dependencies.
• Collaborate with hardware engineering, TPMs, product managers, and site teams.
• Lead on-site coordination to achieve go-live dates.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical assessments.
