Job summary

Amazon's Robotics Technology Deployment (AR TD) team seeks a Systems Engineer to oversee large-scale installations of industrial automation across North America fulfillment networks. You will lead on-site deployment, coordinate cross-functional teams, and ensure go-live milestones are met with quality and safety in mind.

You will travel up to 75% across North America, collaborate with hardware, software, engineering, and operations partners, and mentor junior engineers while driving performance

Qualifications

5+ years in SRE/Systems Engineering, DevOps, or network admin.
Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science or related field, or relevant work experience.
Experience with Python/Java or similar scripting languages.
Knowledge of TCP/IP networking and web services is a plus.

Responsibilities

Manage tactical deployment of large-scale industrial automation technologies.
Own on-site coordination of installation and acceptance testing to meet go-live dates.
Collaborate with hardware, software, and operations teams to translate requirements into deployment documents.
Improve operational metrics through automation and process improvements.
Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical assessments.
