Job summary

Sterling Engineering seeks a Technical Training Manager to own the technical training strategy for industrial robotics and automation. This is a hands-on role on the manufacturing floor, bridging Engineering, Product, and field operations to deliver practical training.

You will develop and deliver programs that enable technicians and customer operators to safely operate, maintain, troubleshoot, and maximize advanced robotic systems while traveling 30-40% to customer sites to gather feedback and

Qualifications

4+ years in manufacturing, automation, or robotics.
Hands-on experience with robotics or automated machinery.
Experience developing and delivering technical training.
Ability to translate technical info into practical training materials.
Willingness to travel 30-40% to customer sites.

Responsibilities

Build and maintain technical training programs for technicians and customer operators.
Develop hands-on training covering operation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and safety.
Partner with Engineering and Product to turn new features into practical training.
Travel approximately 30-40% to customer and field locations for hands-on training.
Build scalable certification, onboarding, and refresher programs.
Measure training effectiveness and continually improve programs based on field feedback.
Represent the voice of the field to Product and Engineering.
