Technical Training Manager - Industrial Robotics & Automation

Are you interested in building the next generation of intelligent robotic systems for real-world industrial environments and helping manufacturers improve safety, productivity, and reliability?

We’re looking for a hands-on Technical Training Manager to own the technical training strategy from end to end. This is not a traditional corporate training role. We’re looking for someone with a strong technical background in industrial manufacturing, robotics, automation, or complex machinery who understands the realities of working on a manufacturing floor.

You’ll develop and deliver training that enables technicians and customer operators to safely operate, maintain, troubleshoot, and get the most from advanced robotic systems. You’ll also serve as the connection between Engineering, Product, and the field, turning complex technical information into practical training.

What You’ll Do:

• Build and maintain technical training programs for technicians and customer operators.
• Develop hands-on training covering operation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and safety.
• Partner with Engineering and Product to turn new features and technical documentation into practical training.
• Travel approximately 30-40% to customer and field locations for hands-on training and feedback.
• Build scalable certification, onboarding, and refresher programs.
• Measure training effectiveness and continuously improve programs based on field feedback and support trends.
• Represent the voice of the field to Product and Engineering.

What You Bring:

• 4+ years of technical experience in manufacturing, industrial automation, robotics, or a similar environment.
• Direct, hands-on experience with robotics, automated machinery, industrial equipment, or complex manufacturing systems.
• Experience operating, maintaining, troubleshooting, servicing, commissioning, or supporting industrial equipment.
• Experience developing and delivering technical or operator training.
• Ability to translate complex technical information into clear, practical instruction.
• Comfortable working directly with technicians, operators, engineers, and customers.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently.
• Willingness to travel 30-40%.

Experience with industrial controls, PLCs, machine vision, CNC equipment, welding, or other automated manufacturing technologies is a plus.
